Terms of Service
Last updated: July 16, 2026
1. Who we are
WanderMemo (“WanderMemo”, “we”, “us”) is a travel journal and travel-map service available at wandermemo.app, operated by an individual proprietor based in Vietnam. You can reach us at hello@wandermemo.app.
2. Accepting these terms
By creating an account or using WanderMemo you agree to these Terms of Service and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the service. You must be at least 13 years old to use WanderMemo.
3. The service
WanderMemo lets you keep trip memories on a personal travel map: drop pins, upload photos, build trip timelines, and track the countries and provinces you have visited. All features are available on every plan; paid plans differ only in how much photo storage you get.
4. Your account
- You must provide a valid email address and verify it before signing in.
- You are responsible for keeping your password and account secure.
- Your account is personal to you. You may not sell it, share credentials, or use another person’s account without permission.
5. Plans, billing and renewals
WanderMemo offers a Free plan and two paid subscriptions — Plus(US$0.99 per month or US$9.99 per year, 5 GB of storage) and Pro(US$2.99 per month or US$29.99 per year, 50 GB of storage). The Free plan includes 200 MB of storage, expandable up to 1 GB by completing in-app milestones.
- Web purchases are processed by Paddle(Paddle.com Market Ltd or Paddle.com Inc.), our Merchant of Record. Paddle handles payment, invoicing, and any applicable taxes, and Paddle’s buyer terms also apply to your purchase.
- Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period (monthly or yearly) until cancelled.
- You can cancel at any time; your plan stays active until the end of the period you already paid for, then reverts to Free. No further charges are made.
- Refunds are described in our Refund Policy.
- If we change prices, the new price applies from your next renewal and we will notify you in advance by email.
- Purchases made inside our mobile apps, where available, are billed by Apple or Google and are additionally subject to their store terms.
If your subscription ends or is downgraded while your stored photos exceed your new plan’s quota, your existing content is not deleted — you simply cannot upload new photos until you are back under the quota or upgrade again.
6. Your content
- You keep full ownership of the photos, notes, and trip data you add to WanderMemo.
- You grant us the limited licence needed to operate the service: storing, resizing, and displaying your content to you and to anyone you share a link with.
- You are responsible for what you upload. Do not upload content you have no right to use, or content that is illegal, hateful, or harasses others.
- WanderMemo is a journal, not a backup service — please keep your own copies of photos that matter to you.
7. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- break the law or infringe anyone’s rights while using the service;
- probe, disrupt, or overload our systems, or access them by automated means;
- attempt to access other users’ accounts or data;
- resell or white-label the service without our written permission.
8. Termination
You may delete your account at any time from your profile; this removes your content as described in the Privacy Policy. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms, with notice where reasonable.
9. Disclaimers
WanderMemo is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. We work hard to keep the service available and your data safe, but we cannot guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation. Map boundaries and place data come from third-party sources and may contain inaccuracies.
10. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim arising out of the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. We are not liable for indirect or consequential damages, or for loss of data you did not keep copies of. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, or your statutory rights as a consumer.
11. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms as the service evolves. For material changes we will notify you by email or in the app before they take effect. Continuing to use WanderMemo after a change means you accept the updated terms.
12. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Vietnam. If you are a consumer, you also keep any protection granted by the mandatory consumer laws of the country you live in.
